so let me get this straight, your 19, a little bi curious, and your not butch. well, i'd like to be the first to welcome you here, i hope no one beat me too it. 
but about your question, i think the whole butch thing goes back to them actually wanting men, or wanting to be more like men. i mean, if they really were interested in women, why would they want women who try to look and act like men, and why would they try to emulate something they don't want?
