Thanks for the Lupin Gang tip... unfortunately, they shut down last month and none of their distributors have masters of the series' any more... 
I'm hoping that one of the HK companies have made rips of either the Italian or Japanese DVDs and subtitled them (even if it is only poor engrish).
Failing that, I will just bide my time until Funimation (yes, they have the rights for the TV series' as well) releases them. Given the quality of Legend of the Twilight Gemini, it might just be worth the wait.
