The manga of X and the X TV series are a little diverse, though the manga seems to be much better.
*Spoiler alert* (Highlight to read)
Subaru, in the X manga, becomes a Dragon of the Earth after killing Seishirou. He actually ends up getting Seishirou's eye, and he kills Kanoe. My sig is from the next X manga comming out (I get the scans from Asuka magazine) and the end is drawing near!
