What do you use to download music, movies and other stuff.

I just got a fast Internet connection hooked up at my house, and wanted to know what programs you favor when you download music and stuff. Any input is welcome since about the only thing I have ever used is WinMX.

Torrents & Kazaa Lite, although I was told that Limewire is better, &I've found more stuff I like on WinMx. I've used a lot of different programs in the past, but my input on them is to outdated to share.

If Max Collins, Matt Skiba, Jimmy Urine, & Mark Phillips had a child it would be one fu*ked up mofo, but 'it' would be the God of music.

I use bearshare a lot mainly because I seem to get the fastest downloads from it. I use bit torrent for anything I can't find on bearshare.

Torrentspy.com. Best torrent place I have found. They have everything.

Aye, surprised they havn't been forced down yet. Especially with Lucas and his vandetta to stop the ep 3 leek. There were about 3k downloads going when I got it when if first hit theaters.

Still need to see that movie. Saw land of the dead couple days ago. Not anywhere near as good as I hoped. =/

For single songs I use Limewire (which is like Kazaa and bearshare).

For albums and movies, games etc. I use bittorent aswell and have azareus as my client.

For torrents I mostly use

http://www.piratebay.org
http://www.isohunt.com
http://www.torrentreactor.net
and the ones already mentioned.

Friends of mine all use eMule but you have to have uploaded an certain ammount before you get fast downloads or something. Sounded like a hasle so I never tried but once its working its supposed to be great.

I use IRC, which is the best place to get the latest fansubs, games, and anime OSTs. Because it's more difficult to use than normal P2P programs, it keeps the n00b leechers out, and speeds at their best.
Macross. An experience often imitated, but NEVER duplicated. Shame on those who think otherwise.

Azureus (BitTorrent) and eMule (ed2k) also with eMule no you don't have to upload so much before you get better speeds it just you get better priority if you have uploaded some instead of those that have downloaded a shitload and not uploaded any at all.. to help prevent leeches but most all networks have that and bittorrent is no different.

also for anime i like this site. http://www.anidb.net

if you register it will have links for every anime in its database. though there still may be no one sharing it but still great resources.. shows all different groups and such..

Batz Kage Wrote:Kazaa Lite

Kazaa Lite is rubbish. There is no error correction so all the files you get are glitchy and there are LOADS of fake files. I use DC++ for really fast speeds and dl mainly anime movies and single songs off it. Torrents are good for full albums and latest releases and I sometimes use Sharezaa for some single song files. Can't be bothered with emule though, it's too slow compared to other networks...
