Hi, we are working on implementing genre system for the titles and need the genres basically... so i have these... please add what i am missing..

I'd say like, Samurai, seeing that doesn't really fit midevil. Inuyasha is kinda Samurai/Action/Adventure.

Edit: Or perhaps Feudal Japanese, if you are going to use Midevil.

I'd say Fushigi Yuugi is more under the Romance/Angst catagory.

True, though I think bellreisa covered it pretty well. Though I think some fit in more than one genre like Inu Yasha and Cowboy Bebop.

well it will be possible to add stuff like multiple genere for each item like.> Love Hina is a Comedy but its also a Romance etc.. So animes will fall under multiple catagory's..

Putting everything in genres will take a lot of work. You can always ask my opinion on where a title should fall? :mrgreen:

Yea it will be a bunch of work.. But ArconX who used to run dvdsubs.com had ~ 600 titles already listed in genere and he is letting us use to information to update our database.. so that will help out considerably.. but everyones help will be appreciated..

I should bother to then sub genre things like hentai. Urotsuki Doji and Koihime are two completely different stories.

I think it is a cool idea to add genres. A romance section would be cool. This is definetly a huge undertaking considering all the titles that will fit into multiple catagories. Good luck. 8O 8O

Would Other count as a Genre, I know pretty much everything fits everywhere, but you never know.

Yeah there will be a lot of Hybred (heysi) titles if you try to sort them out.
