http://www.boxtorrents.com
http://www.animesuki.com
http://www.animetorrents.com

I'd say these are enough for now. You'll find many more if you do a search on google.

The best way to find older anime is by using DC++ or something like that. I know you're asking for torrents but it's going to be harder finding older series that way.

for older anime get DC++ or Emule. they are the best places to get old anime. http://www.animesuki.com is also good for old unlicensed anime

http://www.supernova.org
http://www.downloadanime.org
http://www.manganews.net (Catalogues tons of manga by title and by their scanlators. Many scanlators have their projects available via HTTP.)

If you want a good place.. but its sometimes hard to get some old files because no one sharing but use http://www.anidb.net once you register with the site and login it has most anime's in its index and has ed2k links for them. Its where i am getting FMA also.. also look at the forums for teh AnimeReactor server which is suppose to only have people that share anime on it.

Well I always liked Anime.mirkx to keep track with the newest releases and I've discovered tons of other smaller bittorrent sites from there.
