Generics?

I hear alot about generic gatefolds from MAC, but having never directly experienced one myself I'm at a loss to figure out what they look like or what it means. Can somebody help me?

These sets have a printed dust jacket that slips over the whole set so you know what you have. The gatfold that actually holds the discs is a plain blue holder that has the MAC logo on it.

The discs are still printed so you know what discs you have. It's just a cost cutting measure rather than paying to print all new gatefolds for every set.

Don't see much MAC generic gatefolds anymore but there are still some.

There are still sets they ship out with generics:
Now Then Here & There
SFighter Victory
Black Heaven
and some others

But sometimes they ship out the proper ones.. just random i guess till they get rid of all the generics. Or maybe they use them when they run out of the proper gatefolds.

Irresponsible Captain Tylor TV is also generic, I'm waiting it out until they finish up the old stock and print new gatefolds with artwork
