I have been getting into live action movies alot lately. I am thinking about going to hollywood video tomorow to pick up some more.
I was wondering if you could help me with some recomendations

here are some that I thought were particulary good off of the top of my head.

American History X
The Breakfast club
Boondock saints
Donnie Darko
the usual suspects
Being John Malcovich
Adaptation
Pi
Memento
Clockwork Orange
One hour photo

well thats it for now, I may think up some more later...

have you seen any kevin smith movies? they are pretty good, but a lot of people over-rate them these days. donnie darko and clockwork orange are great movies! but i have only read the book of one flew over the coocoo's nest but i really gotta see the movie. you must have seen fight club? if not then you gotta check it out, definately one of the best movies ive ever seen. spiderman, fellowship of the ring, from hell, ghost dog way of the samurai and the way of the gun. just a few off the top of my head.

Rent the movie "Requiem for a Dream". One of the best movies. Ever. I would also suggest these movies:

Office Space
Royal Tenenbaums
Clue
Tommy Boy
Clerks
Pee Wee's Big Adventure
Leon the Professional
Wasabi
Band of Brothers (its a show, but you need to see it.)
Ronin
The Jackal
Die Hard
Wayne's World
Full Metal Jacket
Stand by Me (one of Stephen King's best)

Those are just a taste of some of my favorites.
