Ranma 1/2 R1 Question

I would buy all of Ranma 1/2 R1 at Best Prices.com. I go there to scoop up the first box, and it's out of print. In fact everything is discontinued there except for 1 or 2 volumes of Forever Ranma and the Martial Mayhem Box Set. Anybody knows what is going on?!?

I know Viz was switching distributors. So maybe they're in the middle of that. You might have to wait awhile before they get new Ranma boxes in.

Yeah it's that stupid Ventura VIZ stuff. Arghhhh. I might go FX, but I want to go all FX to make the collection look nice. FX won't rip season 6 until the new Random Rhapsody Box comes out in September.

on http://www.animekrazy.com theres a complete box of all 162 (i think) episodes of ranma on 18 discs for $140. its either mac or fx, so maybe you should check that out steve

Hahaha. Yeah, I do go by that rule. All of season 6 has already been released, although on individual DVD's. Flora could easily get a hold of the singles and still do an R1 rip for seasons 5 and 6. Season 7 is the only one that hasn't been finished yet.

Of course, there's always eBay -- all 7 seasons pop up there often, in both HKs and R1, though most of these are the R1 box sets of the first 3 seasons and almost all the HKs.
