English Subtitles on Import Anime

I just received my first import anime (Jo Jo's Bizarre Adventure Prequel) and the english subtitle translation really sucked. There were mispelled words and sentences that didnt make much sense. I'm new to import anime so I was wondering if anyone knows if all the import anime has shitty english subtitles or just some of them?

the best thing to do is read the reviews on this site n_n ....... that's what it's here for!!!

Like every one is saying this web site or are little gathering place...
We do the reviews, tell ya what the Video quality is, Subs good or Bad
we own the DVD we are talking about and in return tell if it meets are standards. Hell you can even click on the review's name and see if the buy and like the same stuff you do. So if you read a review from someone slamming Love Hina, but notice most his reviews are all Gundam you can make a informed decision for your self.

Excuse me, but how do you click on a reviewer's name to find out what else he has reviewed? I can't seem to be able to do that. Is it in a title's review section? The names are not clickable.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

You used to be able to do that but ever since Schultz implemented to new review system you can't seem to find out the previous reviews done by a member anymore

One thing I would like people to try to do, is see the entire thing before reviewing. Animeniacs.net reviewed GTO after 7 episodes. Then the last episode has no subs and nobody knows. yea i will get that fixed i forgot about that when i converted them over.. Just been busy with work and haven't had much time on the site..

I agree completely steve. Watch all of the show before putting a review up for it. If you just have to talk about the show just come in here, and make a topic about it I am sure someone would love to banter on endlessly about it. It is kind of frustrating when there are a million reviews for something, and all of them are partial. 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O
