Only way I do it for free is for family like my niece and one for a friend of my dads who gave us a turkey and a ham... But I made 5 bucks a disc off the LOTR Special extended Edition[FOTR 2 Discs], and TTT 1 Disc, and ROTK 1 Disc regular versions made a cool $20 LOL Won't do it for free though I have to pay for the damn discs! lol
OMG, I'm glad I'm not the only person that gets bombarded with stupid questions, if I had a dollar for every time I had to explain dual layer DVDs I could probably buy another DVD burner and an expensive one at that. Why can't people just figure this out for themselves, there are so many guides and websites for this and a simple google search would give them all their answers.
I would never copy DVDs for people again. I used to copy stuff for one guy, in the beginning it was out of my own pocket (I was renting the DVDs also!), I didn't mind so much in the beginning cause he was lending me some DVDs to copy for myself. Then he wanted more stuff so I told him I'm a busy and a poor man so he had to pay for the rentals and the DVD-Rs. He said OK but he wanted more and more stuff (and all pervy hentai stuff which I didn't enjoy renting) and wouldn't even ask me, just say I want this and this for next week. Shit, I kept telling him I'm busy with school and work (the bum didn't even work or go to school) but still came with a list of demands so in the end I just had to ignore him. Be nice and some people will just take it for granted and want more.

Make em pay more money or tell them to hit the road...For your time, supplies, and effort...
if only i could say that...damn next time i will but sometimes i just bite the lip and do it...not got many friends/aquatences as it is

LOL Ive only made a few free ones. Most of which I made for my niece because I know she apperciates it.
But if a friend asks they will have to pay for the supplies at the very least. I even told an old friend of mine who I treat like a brother that. I don't have the financial resources to give things out for free that much and if someone asks for free things a lot right now has to be the worst possible time...

If all they're using you for is to copy dvds, then they're not really friends or good aquaintances to have. I'd tell them to lick my balls if i were you.
