well with bebop it is about one sixth, a set for 30 bucks where as R1 it is 6 discs for 30 bucks. I am not saying that it is one sixth for everything, on larger purchases you tend to save more.
amazon.com is selling all six bebop DVDs for 100$, which ain't bad.
no it certainly isnt, I might consider getting it except I already have bebop by fx and there is a bunch of other things I want at the moment.
That is a good deal for R1 DVD's. Especially for Bebop.
Wolf's Rain is excellent. I just finished watching Ep.1 on my friend's comp and I hope that FX makes a set. Team Bebop has done a great job once again :!:
yeah, I especially like how hige has the same hair due as spike  brings back old memories...
Wolf's Rain is one of my favorite series... it doesn't have the most memorable characters (they're actually quite stereotypical of anime characters), but the beautiful artwork/animation, and one of Yoko Kanno's best soundtracks makes the show itself extremely memorable.

The only downside is that the entire 4th volume of the series on DVD is a total write-off... I think due to budgetary concerns, they made four episodes that recap the first 3 disc's worth of episodes. The only reason it is worth watching is for the little insights that character narration brings to the flashbacks.

On the bright side, the OVA for the show brings it up to 30 episodes, meaning that you get a full series even without the 4 recap episodes.

PS - get your hands on the soundtracks if you value good music even remotely.
