Well I just got DSL and now I want to go download crazy, but I don't want to do any sort of file sharing. I want to get anime episode with as little effort as possible. So that is where you guys come in. I figure a couple of you probably know of a few sites to go to. Well thanks for your help. Big Grin Big Grin Big Grin Big Grin

well to get anime episodes i have found out is hard to get just on websites.. Most of the time you have to attempt to get them from newsgroups (Right JJ? Big Grin), Irc or filesharing. Or know people that have them and you can directly download off them..

I think file sharing is your best choice but hey if you don't want to just ask schultz he will get it for you, Damn DSL brothers...(I have ISDN just to let you know why I'm upset)

I've been trying the IRC thing. I haven't had any luck yet. I get to the part when I am actually supposed to get the file then I am not sure on what to do. I'll figure it out. Big Grin Big Grin Big Grin

My DSL sucks right now, I keep asking them to do a speedcheck but they never respond back. I think they are doing it on purpose because I've been abusing there unlimited d/l and u/l offer.

IRC is good for brand new fansubs, its a pain looking for old stuff and plus the queues on fservs can take forever.

This guide is pretty simple and easy to follow

File sharing is the way to go for older fansubs releases, when I say older, its something like 6 months, maybe less.

Thanks that link helped. The other thing I was using crapped out at the end and didn't tell me what to do. Big Grin

The Anbu-Mint xdcc bot from #anbudom@aniverse has tons of files in archives and its pretty fast, but d/l during off times cause it gets queued up pretty quickly.

Check out what it has to offer here
