I'm sure it's been discussed many times, but i'm not finding any definitive answers through the usual searches. Is there anything more at all for "His and Her Circumstances" (AKA Kare Kano)? An OVA, movie, or special? I'm on episode 24, and i'm dreading the ending. From what i hear and read i'm just going to be left hanging high and dry.

the manga writer and the animator had some conflicting interests so the anime ceases to continue and i guess the manga continues but i think it either stopped production or it comes out very very slowly

As I heard, due to the aforementioned "conflicting interests" between Gainax and the manga author, production on the anime ended, and never resumed. As a result, the last few episodes of the series were rather cruddy, and its final episode was the worst final episode of a TV series that I've ever seen, which was Gainax's attempt to end an anime series while the manga's still in progress -- alot of sketchy stills set to a script that resembles a bland version of "Mad Libs".

Well, that sucks. I'm thinking i'll just not watch the last 2 episodes then. Maybe i'll seek ou tsome scanlations to get my fix for a finish to the story...

You should definitely try reading the manga. The anime is 26 episodes long, the manga is 21 volumes long, that means you're missing out on a lot by watching the anime alone. If you don't manage to find the scanlations you can always buy Tokyopop's editions.
