Need help locating game pictures - Cidien - 01-12-2006 Anyone know where i can find a decent sized picture of either 16 bit link or crono at? I can't seem to find anything but like quarter inch pictures or pictures of them in the game. I remember when chrono trigger came out there were a million sites that had them but now I can only find artwork of him mainly. Type them into google images and then select 'large' for the picture size... 10 pages come up for chrono trigger. Not sure if they're what you want though as I haven't played it... Need help locating game pictures - Cidien - 01-13-2006 I looked around and didn't find anything before I posted this. I want a picture of the game sprite that's about 2-3 inches high at least and not real fuzzy. I've found plenty of smaller pictures but they get so fuzzy when you make them bigger. Need help locating game pictures - gubi-gubi - 01-13-2006 Right I think I get what you want now. You want a hig res pic that looks like it's just come out of the snes or something for a tattoo? How about using an emulator that can save screen shots and just go full screen then cap the screen. Or use another program like paintshop pro to cap it. Should keep sharp and not fuzzy if it's full screen although even if it's a small pic it wont go fuzzy unless it's heavily compressed. Need help locating game pictures - Cidien - 01-13-2006 Ya, thats a good idea. I was hoping to not have to work for it though lol. Like I said when chrono trigger came out there were a million pics like the one im looking for all over the net and now I cant even find one. Need help locating game pictures - desfunk - 01-14-2006 Find a picture you like and post it here. I can resize it will still retaining the pixels (all you have to do is resize the pic WITHOUT filtering it) Need help locating game pictures - Cidien - 01-14-2006 http://www.geocities.com/cyberfenrir/miscsprites/ct/ctcrono1.gif http://www.geocities.com/cyberfenrir/miscsprites/ct/ctcrono2.gif Especially the second one. http://www.videogamesprites.net/ChronoTrigger/Party/Crono/ This site has a little bigger ones too. Btw this site is cool for ct fans. http://www.opcoder.com/projects/chrono/media/ Listen to the music. Awesome. Need help locating game pictures - Cidien - 01-14-2006 Btw, that makes me mad. I really hate when companies put a stop to projects like this. Were they planning on remaking an awesome version of CT? Probably not. Bastards. It's like when funimation stopped production of the quake 3 dbz mod bid for power. Personally I think they did it because those unpaid newbie programmers were making a game 10x more fun than the crap their highly paid "professionals" eventually came out with lol. Actually it's better than anything they've come out with so far. Sagas would have been better if it didn't have some of the most limiting environments ive ever seen in a ps2 game. Need help locating game pictures - Elcoholic - 01-15-2006 If you've got a decent tattoo artist just take a screenshot of the game to him and he should be able to draw some previews for you. You can ask him to draw Chrono in the position you want him. Need help locating game pictures - desfunk - 01-15-2006 The problem with pixels, is that they'll always LOOK like pixels. No matter how much you resize it. Like this: Need help locating game pictures - Zagatto - 01-15-2006 I'm not sure if any of these four versions are any good to you but I can get most of these at fairly high resolutions. While I was checking out images online I stumbled onto Chrono Resurrection at http://www.opcoder.com/projects/chrono/ which was shut down but it's still some pretty cool stuff. Need help locating game pictures - Cidien - 01-15-2006 Thanks desfunk that's exactly what I wanted. I still wanted them to look like pixels, the problem when I resized it is it got all fuzzy so you couldn't even make out the pixels. I don't think that would look good as a tattoo it's a bit too small. I'd go for something more like a loading screen pic or some in game dialogue screen that has a bigger pic of the character rather than a sprite... It will still look pixelated but have more detail so people can tell what it is... Need help locating game pictures - Cyrus - 01-20-2006 i know there is an chrono trigger ova or special or something. its an anime special and you may be able to get an anime version of chrono in that. I've watched it and i don't remember if there are any good shots tho cus it seemed to be more about other characters then chrono himself so...... |
