Unfortunately there's no HK DVD release of Rose of Versailles, not even a Taiwan one. Apart from the original japanese release, there has also been a korean (which is already out of print as well. I only could manage to get the first volume of it...), a french and an italian release, which can be still found at Ebay.fr or Ebay.it. The italian release fortunately has got the japanese audio as well...

i think they are fansubs put into mpeg2 format so hey will play on normal DVD drives and just normal divx out onto DVDs or CDs...
guess the fansub groups would be abit pissed of coz fansubs are meant to be free, ohwell its good for those without broadband
