You must know that by now I hate dubs, but I don't care if you love em' it's what makes you well you. I think I would hate it if everyone were like me. We would all kill each other and revert to cannibalism. 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O

Didn't your VCR die? If it did you can find a new one easy. The thing that I hate about Tapes, and the whole reason I switched over to DVD was the fact that every time you watch a VHS tape it declines in quality. When I heard that DVD was comming out I almost died, and look how affordable It became who would have thought that. Now almost everyone can enjoy the wonder that is DVD technology. I just saw a new sony combo that is a VCR and a DVD player. If I had more tapes I wouldn't mind having something like that. If it is done right anyway. So maybe your VCR going "bye bye" was a sign of greater things to come. 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O

Yes VCR's are coming to an end but I don't see it happening to soon. Since DVd have become so cheap ist is helping but it will be a while before that happens

I've noticed that DVD's have slowly taken over the video stores, like Blockbuster and Hollywood video. Personally I love it. It is just to bad all video releases haven't been transferred over to the medium. I just bought Hellraiser 1 and 2 yesterday for $4.99 a piece! I almost died. I had been looking all over for number 2 and I found em both. I couldn't believe it DVD's that cheap. 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O

Yea but the best part is all the B movies and soft porn you can get for such a cheap amount. Hell they come with three movies on one disk for like 6 bucks it was a steal.

It is the wave of the future. I have no Idea what could be better than DVD. Only time will tell. 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O

I know it will be the same as DVD called something different that just packs more info on a single Disk... and we will pay for it in the end

Yeah I'm a whore for technology. I will buy anything if it is better than what I have. I don't know why that is. It's not like I am not happy with what I have now. I guess it is like the promise of something even better. 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O

DVD is definately becoming the thing to buy in my anime collection. Though definately I'll keep up VHS. Hell my comic bookstore is running a deal you can't beat. All VHS, buy 2 get 1 free. All Brand New anime VHS is $9.95. Used videos are pathetic in price. A mere $2.95. Too sweet. Plus there are old favorites like Windaria from Stream Line Pictures. Unfortunately my copy sucks.

DVDs are great, its even cheaper to produce than vhs and as we all know, easier to bootleg without much loss in quality.

My DVD collection is growing at a feverious pace, its time to expand my British comedy collection, Monty Python, Fawlty Towers (nothings funnier than John Cleese acting like a raving madman) and in Febuary 2003, Red Dwarf season 1. In japan they are getting the entire series in 2003 along with a japanese dub, thats got to be hilarious.

VHS are deader than the hooker in my closet.

I got rid of all of my tapes a while ago. With the exception of a few that have sentimental value. British comedy is the greatest. 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O

I collect VHS tapes still. Hey $2.95 for to see Variable Geo is not bad or the out of print Humanoid for $3.95.

Has anyone seen the Vicor of Dibley or the Red Green Show?
