Don't know any tv shows but the 3 Taxi films are a joy to watch. There have been lots of big budget french movies that have been made in the past couple of years. Shouldn't be to hard to find some.

The only French tv show I ever saw was a porno about 11 years ago. So I guess I'm not much help.

Well part one would be to get a TV cable subscription. Part two would be to find the channel called IC (international channel). Part three would be to find out when french news comes on in your time zone then just watch it as the french is subtitled.
They also show french movies every now and then with subtitles. Enjoy.

"The city of lost children" and "Delecatesin" are the only French imports in English I know of at the moment but they are stand alone films. "Molly Star Chaser" is a French, American and Japanese anime production Bandi is working on getting out but that is a ways off yet last I heard
