Hey,
Im sitting here and we need to add a sticky post that has a bunch of Recommendations for people that arent sure what they want to buy or get into. So from now on we should try and post all Recommendations in this post. So we will have an organized list ! My list can start it off !

I think the biggest problem with this idea is that everyone has different tastes and likes. This would be a boring place if we all had the same exact opinions of anime. Making lists of what is good by opinion will conform some new users to all like the same thing. But if you think about it, just about any anime will be on the list eventually... so it's really pointless.
*EDIT (reply to below)* If it's for new user's... well there's nothing that can be done about stopping them. The only thing that can be changed is the new users themselves to start figuring out what is good for themselves!

well im saying post what you like and think people should check out !
so if some one wants to try somehting new they can look in this post. also we wouldnt get so many what should i buy posts from new posters. thats just my thought or hell have a page where people can have Recommendations so they can see whats good and bad. kind of like reviews but all i see on reviews on this iste is if the audio isnt messed up no one ever talks about the story or characters. at least in the reviews i have read so far. i could care less if in the subtitles they didnt say the in 3 lines.
thats my 2 cents.

I actually agree with Sir Chico. All of us have different tastes. I see about 3 or 4 titles on your list that I thought were total garbage and I couldn't get past the 2nd episode on. But if you really want an essential list for noobs, here you go.
