Canadian Music Trivia - Zagatto - 02-16-2004 This definitely falls into the "General Babble" category of things. I'm sure that most people are aware that Video Killed the Radio Star by Buggles was the first video ever shown on MTV. Some people may even know that You Better Run by Pat Benetar was the second video on MTV way back in 1981 (I remember watching it at my Grandmother's house). Due to Canadian Content laws, MTV couldn't be aired up here in Canada so in 1984 we launched our own channel, Much Music (not that I lived up here back then). My question for everyone is, what was the first REAL music video played on Much Music? I'm not asking about that 1920s film clip set to music either. I'm talking about an actual produced music video. I'll post the answer tommorow if nobody guesses. Heck, chances are pretty good that nobody really cares and I'm just babbling on again. Canadian Music Trivia - Zagatto - 02-17-2004 Judging from the overwhelming response everybody here is a music trivia junkie as well. The first video on Much Music was Enemy Within by Rush Canadian Music Trivia - kakoi_sugoi_yama - 02-17-2004 I figured it would be something like Bryan Adams or Knight Ranger. Canadian Music Trivia - NightRayne - 03-02-2004 whoa cool rush is an awesome band kudos to that |
