IMO this is exactly how to get a girl. I am always a lot more interested in a guy when he does all of the things you listed. Also let me say that most girls do not like it when a guy is a complainer. ugg.. that just makes us want to make fun of you with our friends. So the moral of this story is... if you like a girl be nice to them, and don't try to show off too much. (most girls do like a little bit of showing off) and most of all show some confidence, but don't over do it, or you'll just come off as being full of your self.

Yeah, getting advice is good, but don't take things too literally. You'll find almost any method works. um.. a hammer might not be the right way to go...lol. maybe just stalk the girl you like, untill she freaks out and gives up, and goes out with you. LOL I had this friend in high school that had a cruch on this other friend of mine, He liked her so much that he really would like stalk her. She was always asking us what she should do, cuz it was scaring the crap outta her, and we were just like give up and go out with the guy. Well she did finally go out with him, and get this, he decided after all that effort, that he didn't really like her that much, and broke up with her. OMG that was the funniest thing I have ever seen in my life. She was actually upset about him breaking up with her. hahahaha. So maybe stalking is the answer for you
