Ah well.. One outta two ain't bad =P I won my auction for the Macross TV box set but lost the Urusei Yatsura box #3 auction cause my fucking browser was too slow and I missed my snipe by about a second =P

Finished hana Yori Dango 1-27. Wrote a short review. The only problem I had with the DVDs is the watermarks got really annoying after awhile.

I was wondering, how is Bandit King Jing? I was thinking about getting the R1 for it, but I don't know many people that have seen the series that can tell me about it. It sounds like a younger version of Lupin except without the sidekicks. Any thoughts or comparisons would be appreciated.
Thanks for the info on ROD. As far as BKJ goes, I'm about halfway through it right now so I can only give you my opinions so far. I am enjoying it, but I wouldn't claim it is (or was intended to be) something that will blow you away. It's just lighthearted entertainment with fairly nice animation and colorful, somewhat burtonesque settings: a long shot from anything intellectual. There's not a lot of action, but the episodes go by really fast. I'll update you when I finish the series (prolly in the next couple of days).

Anyways, watched disc 2 of Neoranga. I don't really like this series, but I keep watching it. It's not terrible, so I keep hoping it gets better, but it never does. :confused:

Damn Snipers, worse than in CS. Somebody tried to do that on the Patlabor TV series on VHS. I won it for $40 when it was $15 like 5 minutes before that. *Written very poorly*

Watched I''s OVA, avoid at all cost. The character designs were different from the manga and the whole thing was plain stupid. You can't do much with 2 episodes.
Also watched Ninja Scroll ep 5, biggest disapointment of the year so far

Up to episode 16 in Blue Gender. I really like the dub in this series...yeah, I know it's just DBZ voice actors(mainly), but most of them are really good. I still don't like Goku's voice actor though. :p

Finished Disc 1 of Kanon last night. It's a fun series so far.. But god, ep 9 was so sad.. It's a short series, I'd recommend it to anyone who's looking for something to throw in with an order. =) I believe I'll be starting disc 8 of Marmalade Boy tonight.

Man, I loved Kanon.. What a great series. It's a lot sadder than I'm used to watching.. It ambushes you. It waits till you have a big smile then keeps kicking you in the teeth. =P But I still think it's a must see, heh. I started the last disc of Marmalade Boy last night as well. I'll most likely finish that up this weekend. Seems like I've been watching that series forever. Ah well, all good things must come to an end.
