Anime Bittorrent Sites? - Zagatto - 01-15-2006 It can be tricky to find where your videos were stashed on your computer. I'm guessing that you've installed some sort of torrent client to download these files and have waited for the entire download to happen. There are a number of default locations that torrent clients store your downloaded files. The most common places are on your desktop, in my files or in a sub-directory of the directory where your torrent client has been installed. Most torrent clients allow you to change the download directory in the settings. If you look in the options area of the program you used to download your videos it should tell you where your previous files have been downloaded to as well as allow you to change where you store future downloads. I hope this helps. Anime Bittorrent Sites? - Bleach_Fan - 01-22-2006 vegeta76 Wrote:also check out www.animeyume.org When I went to this site I got tons of popups and my browser crashed. I've recently found http://asiandvdclub.org/. It has full untouched anime R1 torrents. HK's are dead for me now! Just got half of samurai champloo from it. The discs are like 5.5GB but you can watch them on your computer or burn them to dual layered discs or compress them to dvd-5. Anime Bittorrent Sites? - Idol - 02-05-2006 Cool, thanks! Just signed in. Took a while to find out that anime stuff has to be unlocked in your settings in order to view it... but now everything works fine. I suppose I have to thank you for posting this link. I'm still exploring the site but if what they say in the FAQ is true and that's indeed a "community with members from all over the world that focuses on Asian culture and media, namely movies." I'm going to have a blast. I'm seriously into Asian movies right now and I've been feeling like discussing them with other people, especially people from other countries, so this site seems perfect. Yeh me too. I've finally found Love & Pop (the Hideki Anno film)! I've been looking for a subbed version for ages. Can't wait to get it. Got to wait for Samurai Champloo to finish first as you can only dl two torrents at once (well sometimes it lets you but the speeds are slow). Best site ever, you're my new best friend. Anime Bittorrent Sites? - Andromeda18_ - 02-05-2006 gubi-gubi Wrote:Yeh me too. I've finally found Love & Pop (the Hideki Anno film)! Got to wait for Samurai Champloo to finish first as you can only dl two torrents at once (well sometimes it lets you but the speeds are slow). I researched that movie and now I'm interested! Oh me! :p I've been on an Asian films shopping spree lately. I ordered 3 movies from yesasia.com last week, The Bird People in China (Takashi Miike), The Hidden Blade (Youji Yamada - loved Twilight Samurai) and Welcome to Dongmakgol (Kwang-Hyun Park - most watched film in Korea in 2005). All 3 movies have interesting stories and very good ratings on imdb.com so I'm hoping my money was well spent. I also have Shinobi's Premium Edition pre-ordered but that's because I love Basilisk (Shinobi is 'Basilisk the movie') and am a big fan of Yukie Nakama ever since I watched her in the hilarious, very GTO-like tv series Gokusen. I looked for Love & Pop on yesasia but the dvd doesn't have english subtitles, guess I'll download it from AsianDVDClub.org. I'm also quite excited because in a couple of weeks the Fantasporto Film Festival will start once again. Last year I watched some awesome Asian films, like Oldboy and My Mother the Mermaid and this year they will be showing even more Asian films. I'm extremely eager to watch Sympathy for Lady Vengeance (Chan-wook Park), Samaritan Girl and The Bow (both from Kim Ki-duk - love his films). |
