Pictures of our action figures - Andromeda18_ - 07-19-2004 Well, here they are, pictures of my figurines. Since Morgorath wanted to know how many of us collect them and had asked to see a pic of my Nadia I decided to start this new thread. I'm also posting better pics of my manga/anime collection. Here are my figures: http://www.uploadyourimage.com/1/HPIM5721.jpg More figures plus manga and anime: http://www.uploadyourimage.com/1/HPIM5732.jpg http://www.uploadyourimage.com/1/HPIM5723.jpg Manga and some books: http://www.uploadyourimage.com/1/HPIM5736.jpg http://www.uploadyourimage.com/1/HPIM5728.jpg Manga and video games: http://www.uploadyourimage.com/1/HPIM5738.jpg I also have about 18 complete manga collections and a bunch of one-shots in the back of my shelves. Pictures of our action figures - Vicious - 07-19-2004 That Eva02 figure, is that the really highly poseable one made out of metal? If it is, then I have that one too. Harry Potter . . . hhahahahahaha. :p Pictures of our action figures - Andromeda18_ - 07-19-2004 Yes, I love Harry Potter! You got a problem with that?! I don't think the Eva's made out of metal, more like plastic but it is highly poseable. Pictures of our action figures - Vicious - 07-19-2004 Did the Eva come with a bunch of accessories and the back pops open so the plug can pop out? Let's just say my 14 year old brother doesn't read Harry Potter anymore because he says he's too old for that now. :p Pictures of our action figures - Andromeda18_ - 07-19-2004 Your little brother is in that age when kids don't want to be kids and think that doing such a thing as reading children's books is bad for their reputation. Has he read the lastest books? Books 4 and 5 are way darker, I mean there are parents' associations complaining that the books are scaring children and giving them nightmares! And did you know that The Lord of the Rings is originally a children's book? It just had so much success with adults (like HP) that nowadays nobody says it's a children's book. Anyway, I'm a sucker for fantasy books and Harry Potter is just that. I read the Harry Potter books with the same ease I read Sartre's books. The Eva came with a bunch of accessories but I don't think the back pops open, at least I never noticed. Pictures of our action figures - Vicious - 07-19-2004 Quote:Originally posted by Andromeda18_ Who? Pictures of our action figures - Andromeda18_ - 07-19-2004 Jean Paul Sartre is a philosopher, known as the father of Existencialism (a philosophical current). Some of his most famous books are "Nausea" and "Being And Nothingness". Pictures of our action figures - Vicious - 07-19-2004 Quote:Originally posted by Andromeda18_ Yeah. That's definitely not for me. Ask whatsherface when she's on again. I'm not into philosophical or psychobabble stuff. My mind works off of logic, reasoning, and numbers. I need something quantitative, not qualitative. Pictures of our action figures - Andromeda18_ - 07-19-2004 My mind has to work off of logic, reasoning, and numbers as well since I'm studying to be a Computer Engineer and that's all about numbers and logic. However, I like a wide variety of things like philosophy, biology and geology and I usually do a lot of research on those things. If you don't mind me asking, what do you do for a living? Pictures of our action figures - Vicious - 07-19-2004 Quote:Originally posted by Andromeda18_ I mind you asking!! Just kidding. Not much after Sept 1st. Right now I'm doing some entry level IT stuff where I sit here from 7-3 everyday and get to surf the net 75% of the time i'm here. But they're getting rid of everybody on9/1. And right when I thought I had finally found a decent job. so back to job hunting for me again. Pictures of our action figures - animeshop - 07-19-2004 I don't know whether to drool, cry - laugh hysterically like a mad woman.... or or.. hmmm let me think of another outcome Anyway, great stuff, love the everything - btw whos the guy statue at the top holding the cross? Oh and is lone wolf and cub any good? Someone told me it was similar to blade of the immortal, and I love blade of the immortal! Pictures of our action figures - Vicious - 07-19-2004 The guy with the cross is Wolfwood from Trigun. I have one like that that is slightly different. Mine still has the cross wrapped up. I'll see if I can get pics up of my stuff soon. Pictures of our action figures - morgorath - 07-19-2004 Great pics Andromeda18_ I will dig this thread up when I get back and post some pictures of my stuff. I have a pretty decent collection. I just recently started getting serious about owning anime and figurines. How are the Ranma manga and the Bastard manga? Worth buying? |
