I got a friend of mine whose like a film major and watches all types of films, even the artsy foreign ones. I let him borrow Grave of the Fireflies, and asked him if it was the saddest movie he's ever seen. And sure enough, he agreed with me.
nice, yes, I have argued wiht people saying that anime can be alot better then the american movies, and say I bring up something like cowboy bebop, they say, "ooh is it about cowboys boogieing down? there is no way that it could be better then triple X" and I just think "I shouldnt be arguing with these morons."
