Sometime in the middle of march is the last word from Toei. We all know it will only take the HK guys a couple months tops to get those bad bos ripped.

Hopefully the MAC sets come out soon.

Lol, they've been on the animegod site for a few weeks now :p
Don't get your hopes up on an R2 rip cause:
1. it's very expensive and HK companies are cheap :p
2. they couldn't rip all the subs from the R1's and they're lazy to search for fansubs
3. it's licensed in HK
I can only hope that Flora might take on the challenge, but otherwise, we just get the R1 rips, which I'm perfectly happy with.

Is MAC very slow with their releases?!?

If Flora could be pursuaded I'd be willing to edit the parts taken from fansub scripts, but 147 episodes is a big operation. I doubt he'd go for it.
MAC will probably just stick to the R1 rips, which is very understandable, and MI and AV will probably not do it, mainly for reason #3
What I do hate is that MAC is gonna put 12 episodes on 1 disc for part 4 that is listed on their site. At first I thought it might be a typo and should have been 4 dvd's, but the fact that they label it on the cover as having 3 volumes makes me fear the worst. 12 eps is definatly too much. I expect some heavy pixelation during fights

How was the first Dragon Ball Z set?!? Were there chapter stops? My DVD player doesn't have a book mark ability, or at least I don't know of it (since there are no menus).

I'm betting on MI to rip the R2's. They did it to Hokuto no Ken, and that show goes over a hundred episodes. I imagine they'll rip it and split it up into more than one set.

Rip it you fucking bastards (to MI).
They did do all of Hokuto No Ken quickly and they did a great job on box 1.

My review was really poor.

You can always go back with the power of editing. We'll see em' soon if there is money to be had by doing it (which there is) it will be done!

Someone should read it and tell me if it was any good.
