Where are the best (cheapest and most reliable) places to buy import anime online?

Thanks! Big Grin
Right here.
Yup... you've found the best right here.

I don't know anyone else who deals as straightforward and honestly as JJ does. He gets all my online business for anime.
I just used http://www.695anime.com and it worked out great. I tried http://www.sphiatt.com once, and it was ok, but I was sent the wrong DVDs at first. Seth exchanged them at his expense, and I was given the right ones. I know http://www.allanimedvd.com is pretty good too.
An online store thats always worked for me was http://www.animekrazy.com. Another one you can try is http://www.discountanimedvd.com.
I always bought mine from one of 3 sites. One of them being here. Another being http://www.cookiejarvideo.com. I should check to see if that place even still exists. And the third being the only one that we're not allowed to mention on this forum.
It doesn't, she's been down for quite awhile now... wish I had Bella's snail mail address cause I'd write to see how she was doing...

Did she mention why? Was she just not getting enough sales?
As far as I know she hadn't mentioned why. The page was just up one day and gone the next. Although the forums had a substantial decrease in activity in the few months prior, I somewhat doubt that was related.

It's still unfortunate I haven't really bought any HKs since with the exception of the trade board here. Than again not all that much of interest has been put out in a long time oh well.

Well her web site was closed down by her server because they received a notice from one of the big name companies (Funimation? the DB one) that she was selling HK's and they wanted her to cease and desist...

Last I heard from her she was going to find another server, but since it's been so long now, and I haven't heard from her in over 4 or 5 months, I doubt she's done that... I've tried to find her snail mail address so I could write her, but I don't have that info in my Pay Pal account... Sad and of course I don't have a return address from any anime I'd bought from CJV... So I'm at a total loss as to how to contact her... I don't think her email stuff is bouncing back.. but it's been months since I've tried it.. shrug... I don't know....
