I got a dvd burner,i tried to burn the anime i downloaded but it looks like the anime is not burning on to the disk!!,the burner came with the Nero dvd burner software, please tell me what to do or can i chat with either of you on messenger?thanks.
Are you just burning the epsiodes to the disc as data or do you want to watch them on a dvd player? also what are you burning to CD-R or DVD-R ? Also try the Nero Express option that is quite easy to use.
I want to burn them on to dvd rs so i can watch them on a dvd player, can someone help me?
well i don't know too much about the subject but i do know that if you downloaded fansubs then it prolly wont work because the resolution will throw the subtitles off the screen.

thought im sure its possible to do it otherwise thought i have never done so.
I did the TMPGE program and alot of the anime that i have are not supported by it,is there another alternative?

What like MKV or OGM? Just demux them. You can also add black bars to make sure subs aren't cropped. Go to http://www.doom9.org/ and read up. It's too much info for a post here.
LONG TIME GUBI!!!!,how are you buddy?thanks for the reply and the website,i was looking at it and i couldnt find any info on it,will keep searching but i see alot of the anime i have is not supported,do you have any more info?the formats are Avi,MKV and OGM
You're gonna need the matroska toolnix or whatever it's called from here http://www.matroska.org/ It will demux MKV streams. You will need virtualdubmod aswell for OGM and stuff http://virtualdubmod.sourceforge.net/ Just play around. You want an avi for the video, an mp3/ac3(which usually you can just add back to the video later)/ogg or something for audio and subs will most probably be seperate srt or ass or something files which will need converting. You will probably need besweet for audio to ac3 converting and then some dvd authoring software. It's quite a task to learn it all. Took me a while but there are some good tutorials available now. Join the doom9 forum aswell they are really helpful. Good luck!
Thanks Gubi,i am looking at their forum right now, will register and see what hapens, thanks for the websites buddy.
I dont think they will help, they wont talk about "downloaded files"

Man adding those black bars is an insane pain in the ass. Also just skimmed but didn't see anyone mention that you need a special dvd player that can play data files even if you are able to add the bars. You can't just burn data to a dvd and make it work on a regular dvd player.
Why go thru the hassle. I get all my fansubbed dvds from this site http://www.animedivxonline.com/ .Go there he has tons of titles. This site is why I`ll only get HK dvds if it`s a R1 rip forget HK engrish subs.

What do you mean? The black bars are just encoded into the video and you make a dvd as normal.

Oh and that's just a warning to cover their ass bignev44. They won't care. Just tell them it's a mkv you don't have to say whats in it. If that fails google is your friend.
?? Adding black bars doesn't suddenly make the files able to be burned to a dvd that can play in a dvd player. Still need a special dvd player that can play avi/wmv etc.

We're talking about encoding to MPEG2.
