Import Anime Forums

I just saw the anime movie the venus wars yesterday on azn tv. Its from 1989 and honestly the animation is damn good for its time. Has anyone else seen this movie before. The story wasnt bad.

Venus Wars is one of those anime movies that I think of as a classic. I've watched it more than once and I really like it. Every anime fan should have it in his/hers collection.

Jo Hisaishi who wrote the music for Spirited away etc wrote the score- and the animation is well done - Ive had this dvd for a few years now- one of my first anime purchases- think i paid around 10 bucks for it ( R1) - one of my personal favorites. a little dated but a fun watch-- love the racing in it and the battle cycles !
