So has anyone decided to get one.Only a day or 2 for launch over there.
Ive had my jpn version for quite a while. And have thug2,metal gear acid, wipeout and untold legends ordered. And there are still more games i want.
do you have any clue as to how much it is
here it's gonna be $250, and it'll be out thursday.
i won't be geting mine for awhile. the place i was going to get it at is reserved up until 4 or 5 shipments later. ahhh, tooo long.
Well that makes my day.The thought of beutifull girls and psp.
Well I won't be getting one but I think I will whenever I can get one for around $100. I wanna play the MGAcid game. I'm going to sell my advance sp and buy a DS eventually. Friend of mine got a DS and i'm very impressed. It's a much better system than I even hoped for.
I don't think I will ever buy one. I'll just play my friends DS as he will probably buy a PSP leaving the DS all alone.
Isn't it nearly $400 Canadian (when you buy it bundled with stuff). Honestly, I just don't give a darn about the system.
The only game that interests me is Metal Gear Acid, and I would NOT buy a system for 1 game.
The PSP was supposed to be launched here in Europe this month as well. However, due to the strong demand within Japan and the launch across the US they had to postpone the launch in Europe until June (If we're lucky
). I had thought of ordering it from the US but I guess I'll wait a few more months. Maybe whatever flaws it has will be fixed by then. I just wonder why we're always the last ones to get our hands on things!
coz were european...somehow we are not worthy unlike the US Hicks :p...though most of the time we are the bigger market?!?!?!?
plus its coz of the NTSC and PAL difference, though that dont really apply to handhelds
Sounds like discrimination to me. :p

Same here. To be honest, it is waaay too expensive for on the go gaming. And if I want to watch movies, I?ll stick with DVD format (screw SONY and their proprietary shit).

Damn right.
Btw, how do you figure europe is the bigger market? If it really was I have no doubt it would launch there before/same time as the U.S. It's all about the money.
well mr Hick i read it on a website and i cant track it down on how the market isnt always bigger in the US...just coz ya countries big and thinks its everyone boss dont mean it is...it was a report from these lot

a friend of mine just got one. i played with it for a bit and also played the movie that came with it. the graphics are really good, u can watch the movie so clearly. the price on it is high but i think it's worth it. especially with all the features it has.

I can guaran-damn-ty that the profit margin for releasing titles here is better than in Europe, mainly cause of localization costs. It is all about the money, and if they don?t make more money by releasing it here first, that there is probably some kinda plan for marketing or another supporting reason for us getting it first. Not saying it is right or not, but our market over here IS the most profitable, even if it isn?t the largest.
