After years of searching, praying, whining and wishing I have finally found an emulated version of Cliff Hanger!!!

This is one of the key things in my life that shaped my love of anime and a big part of the reason why Lupin is my avatar. For those who don't know, Cliff Hanger is a classic laser disc arcade game that used footage from Castle Of Cagliostro and Mystery of Mamo. The game play was kind of moronic but the movie was so much fun to watch that I dumped more quarters in it than I can imagine.

If anyone else is interested in classic laser disc games, check out the daphne project for the emulator. I've seen a bunch of the ROMs being shared over at http://www.demonoid.com via BitTorrent.

Now I just have to wait for the two days it's going to take to download the ROM...

I'm a huge Lupin fan as well Zagatto. Did you find Cliff Hanger at http://www.demonoid.com?

Yup... I've got 52% of is so far.
The file is about 1.5 gig in size so it's not a quick and easy download but I can hardly wait.

http://www.demonoid.com actually has a fair number of old laser discs listed in the torrents.
