I don't know how to add a review for a title that isn't there, so I'll just post here.
I think it's from MI. The video quality is great, I think it's a rip of the Japanese DVD.
The subs-here's the interesting part. They are either fansubs or HK originals, and they are pretty much grammatically perfect BUT-they are inadequate. This film has such complex dialogue that it's hard enough to understand with official professional subs, but these fansubs don't stand a chance. They're fine in the scenes with simple dialogue, but you're not going to understand the film at all overall with these subs. So don't bother unless you understand Japanese or you just want to check out the visuals anyway (Which are amazing)
Post a detailed review on the site.
Not much to say, great video, inadequate subs, get it if you know Japanese or want to enjoy the visuals which are great, or else wait for Bandai to put the R1 out, though they might screw that up as they have done before.

Thanks for the info. Being a talkie flick, not having good subs will make it kind of difficult. Although even with the original GITS, it took me like three viewings of the official release to "get it" properly...
how about a few screen shot. jpeg at 85-95 quality is ok.
and, anyway, relative to you, where does great stands. could you give a comparison.

Hahaha ive d/led the Hawks DVD rip of it! though have got countless others (d/ld the cinema raws when i first came out then subs of the cinema ones now the DVD rip is Sugoi)

i'm sorry that i don't really know that much. i really don't go to any bit torrent sites besides animesuki. that's basically where i d/l all my anime from. they have a really great selection. usually i don't have time to surf the web for stuff like this. i'm only on at the wee hours of the night. i have work and school and crap like that. i usually don't even have time to post on forums like this. but i'm gonna have a break for the next 3 days. yay. anyways, do u kno where i can d/l naruto the movie from? thanks, and i kno this is off topic.
