i have a question about the
Studio Ghibli Movie Colection [4dvds, 7 movies, english dub]
by manga international

it says:

"Series Info: Direct Rip from the FX Perfect Release"
does anyone know if this is true? and how good this MI set is?

so does this mean it is as good as the FX perfect release [which is now discontinued i think?]

I have a friend that owns this set and it is identical to the FX set.

Anwyay my question is is there any way HK import DVDs could actually harm/damage/break a DVD player?

I have an expensive DVD player and i have never played HK DVDs on it before, so i just wanted to make sure there were no risks to my DVD equipment.

I was on this MAC site today and i found an MAC/AC Studio Ghibli title that is 6 disks and has 14 movies and then that music video too. And 7 of the 14 movies are english dubbed which most likely means that the subtitles are great for it too. Also the other movies probably have decent enough subs so you might as well just get that. I am going to post on the request boards to see if JJ can get it in stock.
