don't worry I am not bitching I asked because when i had got the movie I hadent seen all of the series and I was hoping for a summery of sorts with the movie. But like I said no big deal

In a way it is a summary with some differences thrown in there. Either way, if they had wanted to stay true to the series, it'd be hard to condense a 26 episode series down to 90 minutes and accurately depict everything.
