Hey guys I just got Cable internet and digital cable tv...Now I need some help...how do I bitorrent and where can I get TONS of ARCADE games?!?!?!?!....I wish we had the "evil" smilie right about now.
Well, I dont use bitorrent cuz I use DC++, but I know one bitorrent site is gotwoot.org. As for arcade games, search for a program called MAME. Then you can download all the arcade games you want for that program.
For all of your acade rom needs head to http://www.romnation.net

First of all to start torrenting you will need a client. You can get the official one here http://bitconjurer.org/BitTorrent/

After you've gotten yourself a client head over to http://www.suprnova.org, and have fun.Wink
I reccomend using the BitTornado Client.

The larger and later roms will need special versions of mame.

Lastly, for all the Capcom CPS1 and CPS2 games and MOST of the SNK games, I reccomend WinKawaks over Mame.
how do I get rid of this search bar that downloaded itself to my pc? And how do I get this lycos shit off as well. What's a good fire wall to get?
You're looking for a firewall? Oops. I sent you info about popup blockers that also remove spyware off your machine. Don't know much about firewalls.
Zone Alarm is one of the most popular free firewalls: http://www.zonelabs.com/store/content/ca...ist_za.jsp

or there's Sygate Personal: http://smb.sygate.com/buy/download_buy.htm

I use the latter, but it's fairly complex - I don't even know how to use it properly, but it passes the Shields Up test.

There's probably a few more free ones out there as well.

To get rid of that stuff download adaware or spybot, they are the best I have found. Also, if you are using windows xp, it has a built-in firewall, you just have to turn it on. Also, if you use a router for your computer, they have firewalls built in as well.
