Just a while ago , i saw a post at noated forums that had the same subject
and i wanted to see *out of curiosity* your collections... so , come on show us your collection
to begin with, here is my small collection of DVDs (R1 & HK)
another shot
all HKs are bought from import-anime ^_^
(special thanks goes to JJ for his quality services and honesty)
up until now , i haven't received any problems with these DVDs
i think the DVD player you buy will play a major roll in this
my DVD player is a TIT model T-602 cost me $85
together with creative INSPiRE 5.1 Digital 5700 cost me at that time $237
I have a digital camera and could easily take some pics to post if someone is willing to host them.
A picture of my three Caselogic folders wouldn't be that impressive
(although they hold 600 DVD).
Ohhh I'll take a pic of my crap tonight with my dc. And for hosting of avatars and such...photobucket rules. Never have had a prob and it's FREE. Magical word ^-^ I just got a new flat screen TV and now my DVD player must go because it's quality compared to the TV is an insult. but I don't want to spend $200 if I don'thave to.

I use
http://www.photobucket.com to host my picture files.
Nice shelves. I especially like the Kenshin figure.
Thanks. You can't really see the Trigun ones on top. Although in that one pic, you can see the bottom part of Wolfwood. Also, you can see that Eva02 is lonely since I sold the Eva boxset. I'm saving that space for the Platinum collection of Eva.
I agree with Jiro Komyoji, really nice shelves! And the Kenshin figure is amazing! I also noticed your Woolfwood figure on top of the left shelf because I have one like that myself.
You have an awesome collection, how I envy you (in a good way)! But I guess that if I keep buying manga the way I do I'll never have enough money to buy as much anime as I want to.
I love the picture quality of the Sony Wega TVs.
What really impressed me was how clean the whole thing is. I don't know too many anime junkies who keep their place that neat.
I'd take photos of my collection but about half of my stuff is loaned out at any given time and I don't have space to put everything on the off chance that everyone returned stuff all at once.
I got like 15 DVD's borrowed out too. There are holes there in my Kenshin, Scryed, Ranma, and Miyazaki stuff.
I like those DVD racks I got, but it doesn't allow me to maximize the space like I could have if I had bought some other type of racks/shelves. But I started out with 1 shelf and thought I'd have plenty of room to grow. I never intended on buying this much. I think I'm gonna have to start thinpakking some of the discs to create more space.
About every six months or so I do a purge. Anything I haven't watched or loaned out in the past year gets the axe (there are a few titles that I will always hold on to even though I don't watch them but they are few).
The guys at the local EB give me a decent deal on trade in value towards video games usually for my HK stuff. I wouldn't expect most stores to give the sorts of deals that I get but it gives me a chance to pick up more video games.
Yesh it ish pika pika no na da, indeed.. btw, get on aim froot!
