I am currenty taking a poetry class in highschool right now so I thought I would see if you guys like some of my poems and other peoples that they want to post. Here is my latest one:

13 Ways to reach my house

1. Right, Left, Right
2. Jump out of an airplane and crash through the roof
3. Through the back entrance, up the hill, past the neighbors that park in their yard
4. Shot out of a cannon by a midget all the way from Jamaica
5. Walk out side, get in a car and drive
6. Shrunk down to the size of an ant by an evil scientist
7. Get some exercise and walk
8. Melted down to liquid form and forced through the faucet
9. Just ask
10. Magic
11. Find out where I live first
12. Call me on the phone, grab me by the neck and pull yourself out
13. Follow me home from school

Here's my goofy addtion. I really don't want to post anything serious...cause...shhhhh....I'm a little weird!! HEHE!!

THE DEATH OF A BASKETBALL PLAYER!

As Shadows grow and Sunlight dims
There comes a sound from above the Rim
First a Grunt and then a thud
The higher he goes the air feels like mud
There's no where to turn, he's gone too high
This Basketball player is going to die!

I've always hated poetry, I respect it , I jsut don't enjoy it. Anyways, I've written some before & if I can find some I'll put it up.

Kakoi...there is an actual limerick that is very close to that one. Yours is but missing one line.

i'm no good at poetry, i think and write too mechanically, but i can write music.
