Hey yo

I've never bought any HK dvd's before but i'm thinking that way for the Cowboy Bebop series because I don't really want to pay the massive books for the official R1 sets.

So....I was wondering if anyone could help me in pointing out which Cowboy Bebop set is the best , I hears there was a new remastered version out and was wondering where I could find it. Maybe eBay?

Thanks for any future help !
Check out the individual reviews for sets in the DVD Reviews section. The reviews are really accurate Big Grin. I have the AV set of Cowboy Bebop:

(I reviewed this)

Or... The Fx set may be the way to go (or MAC which is a rip of Fx):

I hope that helps.
quite simply the best set out there is the FX remastered set, and the best place to get it is here (post in the requests forum and ask JJ to get it in, although itll probably be in with the next FX shipment anyway) at only $21 and £8 shipping, i doubt youll find it cheaper anywhere else on the net!

(btw this site is mainly for reviews, so in future you should check the dvd reviews section to find which set has the best quality otherwise people may shout at you, not that i am Big Grin )

edit:
damn you SirChico, you post faster than me!!!
I did read the reviews! but I wasn't sure about where the remastered version fitted in and how would I know for sure that i'm getting the remastered version and not the old version?

Sorry 'bout that!Smile
ive seen both the remastered and original FX versions and i didnt see any difference at all

Big Grin Ha Ha Big Grin Sorry, it was all luck, but I couldn't help, but laugh at your edit.

About Cowboy Bebop... if JunkieJoe gets it in (Fx), it will most likely be the remastered version. So, I don't think you will have to worry. Big Grin
I think all the Bebop sets are now R1 rips and the MI/AV/MAC Bebop sets were all ripped from the old FX set.

Just don't get the old Japanese audio only MI set, worst subtitles ever.
I believe the remastered version has subtitled extras unlike the earlier sets
I bought the MI remastered version and its awsome. The video was perfect. Great set.

Sorry i dont have the remastered set, just the original fx set from way back
paid to much for it too it was my first hk set, stupid discountanimedvd.com
over priced.... well you get the idea
well, none of the Bebop set are bad (except for the old MI jap only bad subs one). I have the AV one and its great. The subtitles aren't that great though. If you're gonna watch it English Dubbed then any of them are good. I bought the AV one because FX titles and some MAC work like shit on PS2 dvd players and thats what I have. AV always works perfectly on my PS2. If I were you though, I would buy JJ's FX perfect collection set and if he doesn't have it at the time, wait for the next shipment or if you're impatient go to Cookiejarvideo.com (my alternate hkdvd source).
