Just wanted to announce that I finally have enough posts to get my own avatar. Sweeeet....
How many do you have to have?

I need a new avatar...but where to get one. Hmmm??
Just make one. It's not that hard really.
Just do a screen capture from your favourite anime.
Then use your favourite image manipulation software to make it small enough to use as an avatar (I forget the exact size... I think its 64 x 64 but I'm not sure).
I use photoshop to do my animations but I could make decent stills using Irfanview which is a free program that totally rocks.
For my screen shots I just use Windows Media Player and I get good enough results.
Failing all of that, you can do a web search for your favourite character and I'm sure you can find fan art or screen shots to use. Then do your resizing from there.
It's 75 pixels by 75....that's what mine is now, the max. So look at my pic of Shockwave and that is as big as it gets...by the pixels I mean.
I have an Inu Yasha one that someone sent me a while back. Now to find it, and put it up on here!
