The anime was based on the manga, but the manga has a lot of stuff in it that the anime didn't. And some of the story line was changed completly in the anime. The manga is better than the anime IMO, I have read a lot of the manga through diffrent web sites that do the scanlations. But it's just too good not to buy, now that Dark Horse is putting it out.
I bought the GN last night from my comic store, and it's freakin' huge! Over 350 pages, the price in the us is only 14.95 or 15.95 one of the two.
