Right now I'm tryin a long distance relationship. I was dating the guy for 4 months though before i moved. We're doin pretty good for me bein gone for a month. I called him earlier today, and he almost had a heart attack he was soo excited
Long distance relationships work sometimes, but you really gotta work at them.
I'm neither an optimist nor a pessimist, I am a realist.
Whether they are a state away or half a world away, it all comes down to trust.
I think I can trust her for now. She's scared that I'm going to get drunk and screw some girl. However, being so bitter about school, I've turned into a giant asshole. The only thing attracting girls now is my rugged good looks and nice body. But when they get around me, I kinda discourage them from staying

What?!?
*shudders. Looks for Anna Kournikova pics*
That's Better.
Ka-Talliya: While I still need to ask my Captain about this, is my chatting with you, Schultz and Morg on the forums considered Fraternization?

No, you aren't even "out in the real AF yet". You are ROTC, right? If that's so, you don't even hold rank as far as I am considered. You have about as much authority over us as a potato.
Here's the deal, I talk to officers, we BS...as long as we don't date and we behave in a professional manner ever thing is fine. Two guys I went through high school with are officers now, but it's not considered fratenization when we hang out because we had a relationship prior to their commisioning.
No worries little buddy.

Here's the deal I hope this helps..it's straight from the pages of Stars and Stripes we just had an officer get Artical 15 for marrying a SSgt.
The gist of this offense is a violation of the custom of the armed forces against fraternization. Not all contact or association between officers and enlisted persons is an offense. Whether the contact or association in question is an offense depends on the surrounding circumstances. Factors to be considered include whether the conduct has compromised the chain of command, resulted in the appearance of partiality, or otherwise undermined good order, discipline, authority, or morale. The acts and circumstances must be such as to lead a reason-able person experienced in the problems of military leadership to conclude that the good order and discipline of the armed forces has been prejudiced by their tendency to compromise the respect of enlisted persons for the professionalism, integrity, and obligations of an officer.
Also it is easier for oppsite sex Fraternization to be proven verus same sex...
For those of you who need the above post in English...see the one above it.
And to think that all this time I considered fraternization the equivalent of bonging a beer. Silly me. There's so much more to it! Yay look...I hit my 50th post..
I never quite knew what fraternization was..I just new it was bad
i like bongs.....wait, are we talking about marijuana or beer ?
both. Replace bong water with beer
