You can download the translated Manga (good quality!) at this translation site I know. Forgot the URL, but google for "Getbackers Translation project."
As for the DVD's, no one has bought them yet, but seeing as there's no official US release, it will probably have the evil engrish subs.
I can't wait till we get some reviews for those.
I though the manga had been licensed. I knew a site that had it, I've been there is a while, although for all scanulation need go to http://www.manganews.net
They have the listings of releases from most scanulators.

Yep go there. Make sure you D/L the comic viewing program, to view it best. This is unofficial BTW, so sooner or later a company like Tokyopop will buy the GB rights and they'll be forced to take it down. Then you'll have to wait months and months for their version. Plus you'll have to pay, so go get 'em!
Or you could just download the digisubs and follow the links on www.animesuki.com...=)
Digisubs? hey can you tell me how to d/l R1 subs and put them onto my enrish sub hk DVD's?
LOL...I really wish i could do that too but Im sure there is a way..IM sure u would need a dvd burner though..im not really sure Sad...This is looks like a question for *drum roll* Schultz..
Rei, you need to explain what they are to the poor guy.

Digisubs are episodes of an anime that you can download, where they digitally encoded the subtitles to the file.

While it is possible to rip your DVDs, replace the subs, and then re-encode them, I would not reccomend it. If you really wish to know, look around the boards for a man named Kakomu, he's your best bet. However, http://www.Doom9.org has some great guides, and I know he'll send you there.

BTW: My sig was from GetBackers.
Sam, there aren't any R1s, so you really can't overlay the subtitles until some get released. I doubt any of the fansub groups released any of their scripts. Your best bet is to download Bittorrent, and find some bittorrent links (saikou-fansubs.com has all of them up to episode 35 at a small size, so you can test them out). and download them, or hop on to Kazaa or Morpheus or WinMX or whatever, and get them from there.
