I can't get mIRC to work on my new computer. It seems to hate the notion of connecting. Looks like I won't be joining chats anymore.

what error message do you get when you try to connect?

it may be the server. Try this line:

/server chocobo.esper.net

Unable to connect: Connection Timed out


It just keeps on doing that, no matter how many attempts.

yakumo, I think it was last Sunday (June 22). I don't think there is one this Sunday (June 29).

EST is -5 GMT, Central is -6, etc
